Home Made English Mustard

- 1 cup brown mustard seeds shopping list
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard seeds shopping list
- 1 cup dark beer ( like Guinness) shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups white wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 cup mustard powder shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp ground allspice shopping list
- 1 Tbs granulated garlic shopping list
- 1 Tbs onion powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp tumeric shopping list
- 3/4 tsp mace or nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- Prep time does not include maturing time etc.
- Combine mustard seeds, vinegar, and beer and let sit 48 hours in a nonreactive container
- Transfer mixture to a food processor along with remaining ingrdients and process until creamy and smooth about 4 to 6 minutes
- Transfer to clean glass jars and cover and refrigerate.
- Let sit 3 to 4 weeks to mature flavor before using
