How to make it

  • CAKE:
  • Cream sugar, butter, eggs & vanilla until light and fluffy.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix.
  • Bake in greased & floured bundt pan @ 325F for 1 hour.
  • Immediately poke holes all over cake with a wooden skewer.
  • Set cake aside and make glaze.
  • GLAZE:
  • Mix sugar, butter & water in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Bring to a boil & boil for 3 min.
  • Remove from heat and stir in almond extract.
  • Pour over the cake still in the pan.
  • Let set until cool and remove from pan.
