Swedish Pound Cake

- CAKE: shopping list
- 2c. sugar shopping list
- 1c. butter shopping list
- 5 eggs shopping list
- 1t. vanilla shopping list
- 2c. flour shopping list
- 1t. baking powder shopping list
- 1c. chopped pecans shopping list
- 1c. coconut shopping list
- GLAZE: shopping list
- 3/4c. sugar shopping list
- 3/4c. water shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter shopping list
- 1t. almond extract shopping list
How to make it
- CAKE:
- Cream sugar, butter, eggs & vanilla until light and fluffy.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix.
- Bake in greased & floured bundt pan @ 325F for 1 hour.
- Immediately poke holes all over cake with a wooden skewer.
- Set cake aside and make glaze.
- GLAZE:
- Mix sugar, butter & water in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring to a boil & boil for 3 min.
- Remove from heat and stir in almond extract.
- Pour over the cake still in the pan.
- Let set until cool and remove from pan.
