Ingredients

How to make it

  • Blend all but the brandy in a blender.
  • Make a tincture by adding the brandy and allowing it to sit in a cool dry place for at least a week.
  • Strain
  • To use: Take 1 tablespoon 1-5 times per day as needed.
  • ***************************************
  • Note: I use 1 cup per part.
  • Note # 2: the amount comsumed is very small. however it is a good idea to boil fresh elderberries and cool before using in this recipe.

How long is the shelf life on this recipe? I make echinacea & elderberry tincture with Vodka & it lasts up to a year & half but it tastes horrid lol!! I've never tried putting the fresh ingredients in like you did. I bet it tastes much better!

I thought it was slightly dangerous to consume elderberry without them being first subject to heat because of a toxin in the berry which needs heat to get rid of it?
