Fresh Lime Daiquiris

Use fresh limes for a summery flavor. Do the labor-part of the recipe ahead and have chilling. Just mix in the sparkling water, pour into glasses with crushed ice, and the party's on.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (appx. 8 limes) shopping list
- 1 lime's zest finely grated shopping list
- 24 tsps. superfine sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup dark rum shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup sparkling water shopping list
- crushed ice shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the first four ingredients in a pitcher and be sure the sugar dilutes. You can start with less sugar and add more to your taste. Chill this mix until you're ready to serve the drinks.
- Pour in the sparkling water.
- Pour into glasses loaded with crushed ice.

This is one of my favorite drinks. I especially like it made with Myer's Dark Rum. I have never made them by the pitcher - but now I can. Thanks for the great post.
