Mushroom Canapes Recipe

Ingredients

1/4c butter

2 Tbs fine chopped onion

1/2lb mushrooms,fine chopped

2Tbs flour

1Tbs salt

2Tbs cream

2Tbs sherry

30 2" circles of bread,toasted on 1 side

1/2c grated parmesan cheese

5 slices lean bacon,cut into 30 squares

Directions

Saute onion and mushrooms in butter 5 mins. Add flour and salt and blend. Add cream and cook,stirring constantly for 5 mins. Stir in sherry.

Spread on untoasted side of bread. Sprinkle with cheese and top with a square of bacon. Broil till bubbly and bacon is crisp. Serve immediately.
