Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground sirloin
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup minced celery
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 2 1/2 cups tomato juice
  • 1 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1/2 t. basil
  • 1/2 t. thyme
  • 1/2 t. oregano
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 2 cups rich beef broth

Directions
  1. Brown the sirloin in olive oil; drain well.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine meat with all the remaining ingredients.
  3. Stir well and simmer for 2 to 3 hours until the flavors are well blended and the sauce is thick.
  4. Serve over 1 lb of spaghetti noodles cooked to package directions.
