Crispy Artichoke hearts

- 15 ounces whole artichoke hearts shopping list
- 1-1/2 cup flour seasoned with salt pepper and paprika shopping list
- 1-1/4 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 3 ounces bread crumbs shopping list
- vegetable oil for frying shopping list
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese grated shopping list
- 2 teaspoons fresh parsley chopped shopping list
- garlic lemon butter: shopping list
- 1/4 pound butter shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1-1/8 tablespoon finely chopped parsley shopping list
- 1/3 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1-3/4 teaspoon lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- Drain artichoke hearts well and cut in half being careful not to crush or break leaves.
- Dust hearts with seasoned flour and dip in buttermilk.
- Dredge in bread crumbs making sure that each heart is well coated.
- Fry until golden brown and crispy then place in heated dish.
- Place all garlic lemon butter ingredients in saucepan and melt over low heat until melted.
- Pour butter sauce over artichokes then sprinkle with parmesan and parsley and serve warm.
