Pepperoni Pizza Roll Recipe
PEPPERONI PIZZA ROLL This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Stolley Estate in Wills Point, Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups buttermilk baking mix
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/3 cup tomato paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3-1/2 ounce package sliced pepperoni chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 then mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms.
  2. Beat vigorously 20 strokes then turn dough out onto a lightly floured board and knead 5 times.
  3. Roll into a 15x9” rectangle then mix tomato paste with seasonings.
  4. Spread over dough to within 1/2" from edges then sprinkle pepperoni and cheese over dough.
  5. Roll up beginning at 15” side then pinch edges to seal.
  6. Place roll seam side down on ungreased baking sheet then bake 20 minutes and cool 5 minutes.
  7. Cut into slices and serve while hot.
