Fremch Dip and Oven Fries

- 1 3 to 4 lb lean beef roast (sirloin tip is great) shopping list
- 2 pkgs. beefy onion soup mix shopping list
- 2 or 3 tbs beef base (Better than boulion or something of that nature.) shopping list
- 2 medium onions shopping list
- Plenty of fresh hoagie rolls shopping list
- 8 large baking potatoes shopping list
- cookong spray shopping list
- seasoning salt shopping list
How to make it
- Salt and pepper your roast and roast in 350 degree oven till done. Take out of oven and allow to cool completely . When it is completely cool place on cutting board. With a very sharp knife slice the roast in thin slices about 1/8 inch thick. Put meat in large heavy kettle. cut onions in half and slice into pan, Empty contents of soup packets into pan. Spoon in the beef base. Cover with three quarts water. Bring to boil and then lower heat to simmer. Allow it to continue slowly cooking for two hours. Yiy can also do this part in a slow cooker if you like.
- To make Potatoes, cut one potato for each person into six wedges and place on oiled cookie sheet. Spray with cooking spray, sprinkle with seasoned salt. Bake in a 350 oven till golden brown and done. This takes about 60 minutes.
- Place six potato wedges on each plate. Pile the meat on the hoagie buns. Pour Aujus ino individual cups and serve. You will be called cook of the year/ You can serve a green salad with this if you like
