Chocolate Soup With Hazelnut Biscuits

- 200 gms butter shopping list
- 100 gms brown sugar shopping list
- 2 small eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla essence shopping list
- 300 - 400 gms hazelnut meal (finely crushed up hazelnuts) shopping list
- ............................................................................................................ shopping list
- 250 ml cream shopping list
- 2 tbsp brown sugar shopping list
- 200 gms dark cooking chocolate shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and the 100 gms of sugar together
- Add the 2 eggs and vanilla essence
- Beat again
- Add enough hazelnut meal to make a firm dough
- Place teaspoonfuls of mix onto baking tray
- Flatten down to make biscuit shape
- Bake at 170 C for 20 -25 minutes
- While biscuits are baking...................
- Heat cream until boiling
- Stir in the 2 tbsp sugar and reduce heat
- Break chocolate into small pieces
- Add the chocolate to the cream
- Stir well to mix melted chocolate through
- Serve into bowls while still warm
- Use the hazelnut biscuits to dip into chocolate soup
