Chocolate Soup With Hazelnut Biscuits Recipe
I try to avoid sugar and chocolate but when I indulge...well here is what I came up with ....very messy, keep a damp cloth on hand for wiping off sticky hands and faces

Ingredients
  • 200 gms butter
  • 100 gms brown sugar
  • 2 small eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 300 - 400 gms hazelnut meal (finely crushed up hazelnuts)

  • 250 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 200 gms dark cooking chocolate

Directions
  1. Cream butter and the 100 gms of sugar together
  2. Add the 2 eggs and vanilla essence
  3. Beat again
  4. Add enough hazelnut meal to make a firm dough
  5. Place teaspoonfuls of mix onto baking tray
  6. Flatten down to make biscuit shape
  7. Bake at 170 C for 20 -25 minutes
  8. While biscuits are baking...................
  9. Heat cream until boiling
  10. Stir in the 2 tbsp sugar and reduce heat
  11. Break chocolate into small pieces
  12. Add the chocolate to the cream
  13. Stir well to mix melted chocolate through
  14. Serve into bowls while still warm
  15. Use the hazelnut biscuits to dip into chocolate soup
