ROSEMARY SAGE STEAK This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Woodson Estate in Bedford, Texas in 1990.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds boneless top sirloin steak all visible fat removed
  • 1/2 cup chopped white onion
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh sage
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 medium cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions
  1. Put steak in an airtight plastic bag.
  2. In a small bowl combine marinade ingredients then pour over steak and turn to coat evenly.
  3. Seal and refrigerate for 1 to 24 hours turning occasionally.
  4. Preheat grill to medium high heat then drain steak and grill 12 minutes per side.
