This recipe came from an estate sale that I purchased in Allen, Texas in 1991. I have not tried this but fully intend to.

I have all the ingreds other than the chayote squash, which I can get localy. I like the idea of marinating the squash as it is a pretty bland veggie. This will be so darn tasty. I realy can't wait to try it. It gets my 5 cuz the ingreds alone are teasing my palate. Thanks for a wonderful post. I'll let ya know when I make it.
