  • southwestern butter:/6tbsp butter,slightly softened:,1\4tsp cummin:,1\4tsp dried oregano leaves:,1\4tsp chili powder:,1\8tsp dried thyme leaves:,1\8tsp pepper:,dash of cayenne papper:....,STEAK:/ 1tbsp butter melted:,1lb.boneless beef sirloin(1to11\2in. thick):,2tsp blackened steak seasoning shopping list

How to make it

  • in small bowl combine all butter ingredients;blend well...,place butter on piece of plastic wrap and form a 4in.log.refridgerate one hour til firm..,NOW brush each side of steak with remaing butter then with blakened seasoning..,let stand room temp.for 30minutes...heat grill/place steak on grill for 10-30minutes or untill desired doneness,turning once..,to serve cut steak nto individual serving pieces..,cut butter into 4slices & place onto hot steaks.
