I have gone to several classes for homemade soaps. I love this recipe. The ones we made were lavender and lavender with rosemary. I think I will get some girlfriends together and try this one! Wonderful, wonderful post and high 5 to you!

This must smell amazing! Where might one find some of these ingredients? I'm not sure I've ever seen lye or soapbark herb at my local Acme - but I would LOVE to try this! Thanks so much ^5

I love homemade natural soaps, but I think you should add the precautions & warnings of working with LYE - the dangers of lye on skin & in eyes (& what to do if that happens), & if there are dangers of fumes (do it outside only?)....When I looked into it years ago, it was caustic & dangerous enough that I chose to look for ways to make soap without lye!
