How to make it

  • soak the almonds in warm wated for a couple of hours. drain and then process in a food processor or blender to a fine puree ; set aside.
  • heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds,cloves,cardamom pods,garlic,grnd turmeric and bay leaves. when the spices begin to crackle , add onions and fry for 5-10 mins.
  • add chkn and fry , stirring continuously.stir in almond puree and cook over low to medium heat for 15-20 mins.
  • stri in the light cream, grnd cardamom and garam masala. add the sugar and salt to taste. cook for 3-5 mins longer.
  • serve at once , garnished with a few almond slivers and chopped freash cilantro.
