Turkey Cobb Melt Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

2 slices hearty wheat bread

2 Tbsp. mayonnaise or salad dressing

4 slices deli turkey

2 slices thin Provolone cheese

2 ea 1/4" slices avocado

3 slices bacon, cooked crispy

2 slices blue cheese

2 slices tomato

1 nice lettuce leaf

1 Tbsp. butter

Directions

Heat griddle or non-stick skillet over medium high heat.

Lay your wheat bread slices side by side on a cutting board. Spread both slices with mayonnaise or salad dressing. Then start layering on one slice:

Turkey slices

Provolone cheese

Avocado slices

Bacon slices

Blue Cheese slices

Tomato slices

Lettuce

And top with your second slice of bread.

Spread butter on outside of each side of sandwich. Place on griddle or skillet and grill until nicely browned on each side. Remove and slice in half. I put tooth picks in each side of sandwich to hold them together. Enjoy!
