French Toast. Serve with maple syrup, jam or marmalade, or sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Ingredients
  • Toast:
  • 1 egg
  • few grains salt
  • 1 t sugar
  • 3 T milk
  • Cinnamon sugar:
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1 t cinnamon

Directions
  1. In a bowl, mix egg, salt, sugar, and milk.
  2. Heat a griddle or heavy frying pan.
  3. Butter it well.
  4. Brown the dipped bread on each side.
