Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine 2 cups flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add butter and stir until all ingredients are moist.
  • Reserve 1 cup of crumb mixture.
  • Press remaining mixture into bottom of an ungreased 9"x13" baking dish.
  • Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned.
  • Immediately sprinkle chocolate morsels and walnuts over hot crust.
  • In a small bowl, combine caramel topping and the remaining 1/3 cup of flour.
  • Drizzle it over the chocolate and walnut layer.
  • Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Cool completely in pan on wire rack before cutting.
