Chicken Thighs with Mustard Citrus Sauce

- 1/4 c fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1 Tbs worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 3 Tb minced garlic,divided shopping list
- 3 Tb honey,divided shopping list
- 8 skinless,boneless chicken thighs shopping list
- 2 Tb olive oil shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 3 Tbs chopped shallot shopping list
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper shopping list
- 1/2 c orange juice shopping list
- 3/4 c chicken broth shopping list
- 1/4 c Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1/2 tsp orange zest shopping list
How to make it
- Mix lemon juice ,worcestershire sauce,1 Tb garlic and 2 Tb honey in plastic bag. Add chicken and marinate in frig 1 hour.
- Heat oil in large skillet. Remove thighs from marinade,pat dry,sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brown on all sides,about 10 mins.remove chicken,add shallots,remaining garlic and crushed red pepper;cook 2 mins. Return chicken to pan and add orange juice and broth. Simmer,turning once,until chicken is cooked through,about 10 mins.
- Remove chicken to plate. Add mustard,orange zest and remaining honey to skillet. Bring to a boil and whisk until sauce thickens,about 7 mins. Spoon over chicken and serve.

Very nice play on all the citrus flavors! I did marinate this for about 4 hours to get a little extra flavor in there. I added this delicious recipe into the IMI group...Thank You Pleclare!! more
