Oriental Garden Toss

- Ingredients: shopping list
- 1/3 cup green onion thinly sliced shopping list
- 3 Tbs. reduced-sodium soy sauce shopping list
- 3 Tbs. water shopping list
- 1 ½ tsp. roasted sesame oil shopping list
- 3 packets Equal or sweetener shopping list
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1 3oz package low-fat ramen noodle soup ( any flavor seasoning packet will not be used) shopping list
- 2 cups fresh pea pods( snow peas ) halved crosswise shopping list
- 1 can ( 8 ¾ oz ) baby corn, Drained, rinsed and halved crosswise shopping list
- 1 cup fresh bean sprouts shopping list
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms shopping list
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into bite-size strips shopping list
- 3 cups shredded Chinese cabbage shopping list
- Empty screw-top jar for Dressing shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped unsalted cashews ( optional ) shopping list
How to make it
- 1)Dressing: Combine green onions, soy sauce, water, sesame oil, Equal, garlic powder and red pepper flakes into a screw-top jar; set aside
- 2)Break up ramen noodles (Remove seasoning packet do not use.) ; combine with pea pods in a large bowl. Pour boiling water over mixture till all is under water. Let stand I minute; Drain.
- 3)Combine noodles, pea pods, baby corn, bean sprouts, mushrooms and bell pepper in a large serving bowl. Shake the dressing and add it all to the mixture; toss to coat. Cover and chill for 2 to 24 hours. Just before serving, add the shredded cabbage; toss to combine. Sprinkle with Cashews, if desired.

Love this recipe because it tastes just like the restaurant version (but only better) which keeps me at home cooking and saving my 'eating out money' for other things!
