rosemary chicken

- 1 large free range chicken cut into 6-8 pieces shopping list
- 4 large peeled and sliced potatoes shopping list
- 3 peeled and thinly garlic cloves shopping list
- 2 white onions thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 lemons thinly sliced shopping list
- 4-5 sprigs fresh rosemary shopping list
- clay pot or rommeltopf shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon corse grind blackpepper shopping list
- 1 tablespoon extravirgin olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- prefer to get rid of the chicken skin
- in claypot,put a layer of onion followed by
- a layer of potatoes topped with chicken pices
- spread rosemary sprigs on top,add remainder
- or of potatoes,onions and sliced lemons
- drizzle with the olive oil
- cover claypot or rommeltopf tightly
- place in a preheated over of 350 degrees
- cook for about an hour
- enjoy it with cabernec franc or berbera or any light to medium red wine
