Dilled Green Beans And New Potatoes Recipe
DILLED GREEN BEANS AND NEW POTATOES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Adair Estate in Sulphur Springs, Texas in 1994.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 pound small new potatoes quartered
  • 1/2 pound fresh green beans trimmed and broken into 2" pieces
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill weed
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Directions
  1. In medium saucepan bring 2 cups water to a boil.
  2. Add potatoes and green beans then return to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and cover then simmer 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile in a small bowl combine all remaining ingredients then blend well.
  5. Drain vegetables and rinse with cold water to cool slightly then place in serving bowl.
  6. Add sour cream mixture then toss to coat and serve immediately.
