I love this one -For grimy Windows and Glass
Put a Tablespoon of Corn Flour/Corn Starch and Luke warm water into a spray bottle. Scrub window and then buff wtih a clean cloth for streak free clean. Per Kim on BBC's "How clean is your house?" They cleaned a window that had 14 years of grime on it and it instantly came sparkly clean.

Pudgy47 -I'm not sure, but I imagine it would. I don't think it would hurt the crystal though.

tnacndn -LOL is right -the sad thing is I really need this tip too, but I've never actually tried it myself. If only they would come up with a tip to get the windows to actually clean themselves -now that's a tip I could use. I only saw them demonstrate this on the TV show and I was amazed at how easy it was -and these were messy windows too.

Martha Stewart suggests (and I'm sure for lighter dirty on windows or other glass) to spray our glass cleaner onto a paper towel and then go at it. By not spraying onto the glass you use less and don't leave streaks, either. This works great here. The dog has a habit of pressing his nose against all of the windows and I daily do a round of cleaning that up.

Need to try this on my car windows. Nothing like turning into the sun and having to peer around all those streaks on a window you thought was clean and streak-free.
