Banana Muffins With Crumbly Brown Sugar And Cinnamon Tops

This is a great recipe. Now I found that the flavour of the banana only peaked out so if you are wanting a stronger taste that I would suggest a little banana extract or additional banana. Will be making again.

Nadine, I have a question: Were the bananas you used overly ripe? I have found that if I use bananas that are really, really ripe when making banana bread, the flavor of banana is more prominent. I've saved the recipe and look forward to making it. Thanks for sharing!

Hi DIZ3 as far as I was concerned they were. The bananas were in my meat section of my fridge (will try and find pic in mooring) and they were nice and black. Sometimes I do find that if they look a little green meaning almost fully yellow they flavour is different.

Hope this link works for you. The thing I love is the middle section you can set for 1 degree or -1 which most of the time it is set at.
