Bulogogi Inspired Burgers

  • Karen_B 7 years ago
I made this tonight Bulgogi Inspired Beef Burgers. It is Cosmicmothers recipe - I love a good burger and this was a hit in our house tonight!! The flavors are definitely remisicent of bulgogi. The soy sauce, sesame oil and ginger really add great flavor to the meat, and then when you add the pickled veggies and the siracha mayo - wow!! So good - my husband was sad that I didn't make more :) . Will definitely be making it again!
I attached a photo to the recipe.

I'm so glad you and your Hubby liked it Karen!! Thanks so much for giving it a try and posting it here :)
We just had it again the other day. I doubled the recipe and turned it into 6 mini meat loaves. Topped it with a ketchup-hoisin glaze with a dash of chili sauce and baked it in the oven at 375F for 20-30 minutes. The kids loved it too!
But I have to say my personal preference is the burger with the pickled veggie toppings...nom nom ;)

Thanks again Shona! That sounds wonderful as mini meat loaves too! Might have to try that😊. I will let you all in on a little secret... I put peanut butter on my bun- I thought why not? They make peanut sauce for some Asian dishes... tasted great!

The peanut butter sounds great Karen! I will try that next time! I love the idea of turning it into a Thai inspired burger with the peanut butter, and perhaps topped with matchstick carrots, red peppers and coleslaw in a peanut dressing! ;)
