    Egg Nog for the holidays. Taking this to a Christmas party. With a dilution rate of 3:1 milk to alcohol and then the egg whites and heavy cream added in on top cuts way down on the bite of spirits. Nog separated out on chilling overnight; beaten cream and whites to the top. Read somewhere a nog gets better after aging for a month. I'll give it a week on short notice. Surprised at how much this recipe made. Needed a gallon container. Maybe a little crowd reaction after I get back from the party.

    I have never had egg nog at all, store bought or homemade lol. I do know I think I'd only drink it if it was alcoholed up :-). Can't wait to hear how it goes over with the crowd!

    Homemade blows away store bought Michelle. Store bought has thickeners added and a lot of other gunk. Homemade is like melted vanilla spiced icecream.

    Nobody partook. So I've lots to drink over the new year holiday at home. Will have to schedule my imbibing for when I know I'm not hitting the road for a few hours. Did take some three-layer banana pudding which got used a little. And some of my own recipe biscuits, which was reported "they ate the shit out of them". Unfortunately, or not, I didn't put any feces in them. :P
