Made for the December 2016 "Holiday Beverage" Challenge

I had enough sweetened condensed milk leftover from the chocolate cherry cookies to make a Half Batch of this.
The condensed milk makes it very creamy, and rich with a perfect amount of sweetness to balance the unsweetened cocoa powder.
I didn't have mini marshmallows to add to the top, much to my children's dismay! But I prefer my hot chocolate naked or with a dollop of whip cream anyways :)
I like to make homemade cocoa vs the can/packets, and so far this has been our favorite one! Perfect after a cold day of snowman making :)

I rarely buy sweetened condensed milk, but I think I might have to keep some on hand just for this recipe! It's a loooong Winter up here! brrrr ;)

Nice photo, Cosmicmother! Love how you have them sitting in the snow. Makes me want a hot cup of cocoa. Plus, it has Christmas written all over it. Never would have thought to use sweetened condensed milk that way.
