Recipe by Chefmeow: Adzuki Meshing Red Beans And Rice Dated 1919/saved
Tastes OK for red beans and rice. Recipe is not without its trouble.
There is not enough liquid to simmer the rice. I added what I thought was necessary.
There is no liquid to do a second simmer. I added just a little.
The wine in the ingredient list is referred to as sake in the directions.
I didn't have either wine, sake, or black sesame.
Left out the wine and used toasted white sesame sprinkled on top, as the directions didn't say when to use it.
Too many things to figure out on my own to give this any higher rating than a 3-star performance, thanks to the flavor.
Used red kidney beans to run out my stock and a few red beans to fill the measure.
A piece of cornbread jumped onto the serving bowl.

HHmm..that is weird that sake is thrown in there all of the sudden at the end of the recipe. It does look good though!
