Recipe by Jett2whit: Angel Biscuits Well..........well...........well. This recipe has the yeasty beasties and quick rise leaveners too. A good rise of 1" and maybe + on a couple of them. Soft, fluffy, tasty. I only made half the recipe. Didn't want to freeze the extras or refrigerate the dough. Refrigerating the dough will make the baking soda less effective, although it might improve the flavor with the yeast. I used a 50/50 mix of butter and shortening to get tenderness and flavor.
