Apple Streusel Pie - Diabetic Friendly

Recipe by Spinach1948: Apple Streusel Pie Diabetic Friendly/saved
Good pie. Filling is a little on the dry side, in that, it doesn't hold together as a full octane filling would. Not enough goop in the middle to hold it all together well. But it is, after all, a diabetic friendly pie.
Took an additional 10 minutes with a pastry ring on to protect the crust from overbrowning.
Used ground peanuts incorporated in the streusel.

Beautiful pic! In the second pic it looks like it held together pretty good to me, Points.

Yeah, looks like it. But it's still in the pie plate. After a slice gets xferred to a dish it's another story.

I'm not an apple pie lover, but have to admit that sliced pie sure looks good, Points!
