Made this sometime last week. I had came across some huge beautiful green tomatoes at the Farmers Market and knew I had to use them fried in some way. Found this recipe and went for it! I cut the cornmeal and milk in half, for one tomato that would be too much. I also didn't see where to add the salt and pepper so I added it to the cornmeal. This was just so good! Served with mayo on one slice of bread and mustard on the other. Oh, and toasted the bread :)

I just love coming to IMI first thing in the morning for my food fix. Another beautiful photo Mommyluvs2cook! I made fried green tomatoes a long time ago and they didn't turn out as I'd hoped. I need to try again because they always look so good.

Wow, what a gorgeous picture! I've never had fried green tomatoes. I had lunch at a Cajun place out of town the other day. They were on the menu as an appetizer and I thought about trying them. Then the waitress said they were out. My luck!
