Berry's Lemon And Honey Chicken Breast

I made this for dinner tonight. I was skeptical when I saw the amount of cinnamon. Especially when I smelled and tasted the marinade. Almost tossed it and started over with a fraction of cinnamon. Decided to go with as written. Let them marinade overnight. After frying them they still didnt have the caramel color I hoped for. I removed all chicken from the skillet and added 2 T of honey to hot skillet and let brown a bit then tossed the chicken back in added sesame seeds and tossed over hight heat for about 2 minutes. I think this was a major key to the flavor. I LOVED this I wanted to lick the plate. Wish I would have doubled the recipe. Only had 2 b/s breast leftover from an earlier recipe. Its no surprise that I served this with rice. Thanks, Berry for a great recipe. Oh I also used grapefruit mint (pictured). Dont have regular stuff

Well, MrP, you are becoming quite the clever cook. First your homemade polenta without a recipe and now browning chicken in honey. Which I think is a fabulous idea. I love cooking with honey so I am definitely stealing that technique in the future. It looks wonderful.

Thank you Frankie. Love the sticky goodness of browned honey. Any venturing Ive done is credited to GR. If not for being introduced to GR, Id still be eating out of cans and boxes
