How to make it

  • Cut in pieces the chicken breast
  • Add garlics, cinnamon, mint, salt pepper, honey and lemon juice, marinate for 1 hour or better if you marinate over night.
  • Fry until golden or brown and caramelized … finally add sesame seeds or almond slices and stir… add extra honey and serve warm.

This was excellent. The cinnamon had me worried, but when all was said and done, it turned out great. I did add some honey into the hot skillet after the chicken was done and browned it a bit then tossed the chicken back in with sesame seeds for about 2 minutes to get that caramelized color. Thanks for sharing a great recipe. More posted in the I Made It group here------>Berrys Lemon And Honey Chicken Breast

I just cooked this and it went down well with the team.

I used 3 chicken breasts but with the same quantity of marinade. This seemed to work well and fed 4.

The cooking time was about 20 minutes to thicken the marinade into a nice sauce.

We had fine noodles and steamed vegetables with this but it would have worked well with rice or in tortilla wraps.

Your ingredients mention dried mint, but your direction does not say when to use it. Do you use the mint when marinating the chicken? This recipe is similar to my Lemon Honey Chicken recipe. The only differences are I do not put mint and I roast/barbeque the chicken. Maybe next time I try using mint. Thanks for the idea.

Fascinating. Is this a traditional dish? With the cinnamon, mint, and honey it looks like it has a Turkish flavor. Very impressive, you have another winner!
