Recipe by Midgelet: Best And Easiest Scalloped Potatoes
Quick and easy. Used the last of my homemade batch of Boursin cheese.
Where's the salt Midge!? Where's the salt! It is, after all, potatoes!
Put a little pepper in the mix while you're at it.
Lots of good flavor here but the S&P brings it out even more.
Had to extend out the baking time for 30 more minutes, as the outside of the pan was done but the middle was not.
    Used a 9x13 casserole dish.
The extra 15 minutes bake time with the foil off did not brown up the top but I wasn't even worried about that aspect at all.
    Overall a good recipe.

Wow what an easy recipe! I like my baked sliced potatoes browned up so I would probably throw them in the broiler. preference though.... Looks awesome!!

Yeah, the dish would look prettier with a little browning. There's something about hunger that bypasses all the flourishes. Lunch was already 2 hours late! : (
It's even an easier recipe if the food processor is used.

That's a different way to make scalloped potatoes! I like mine really browned up, too. The top kinda crispy. Making me hungry for some scalloped potatoes. You got a good run out of that Boursin!
