Bisquick Oven Baked Chicken

  • LindsayB 9 years ago
Was wondering what to do with my chicken thighs and this was recommended. So glad I made it. Was absolutely delicious! Definitely a do-over! Followed instructions on cooking skin side down first for most of time, and this resulted in a lovely crispness! I also used generic baking mix, which worked just fine. If you're looking to try a new chicken recipe try this! Also- cooking time was spot on for us! Thanks!

Thank you, Lindsay! I am happy you like it. I've made lots of oven fried chicken and I've found the best way to get it most like real fried is to use butter and start it skin side down and then flip it. That gives the skin a chance to get all nice and crisped up. :)

One piece leftover for lunch that is going into my toaster oven to get crisped again. Mmmm

Go for it Shearone, you won't be disappointed. Most recipes I will make once, this is in my regular rotation although I do use boneless skinless. Great recipe!!
