Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat oven to 425°F. Melt butter in rectangular baking dish, 13x9x2 inches, in oven.
  • Stir together Bisquick, paprika, salt and pepper; coat chicken (I use a plastic zip top bag for this). Place skin sides down in dish (dish and butter should be hot).
  • Bake 35 minutes; turn chicken. Bake about 15 minutes longer or until juice is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.

Delicious!!! I made this last night, with a couple of changes. I used Earth Balance in place of butter and gluten free flour in place of the Bisquick(lactose intolerant) I used B/L,S/L chicken breasts and they turned out very tender, moist, and very flavorful We really enjoyed this dish and will make it again.Thank you for sharing...

Excellent!! This chicken has so much taste for so few ingredients. I cooked two small boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 10 minutes per side in 1/2 the amount of ingredients plus 1/2 tsp of garlic powder. Great recipe that I will be making again. Thanks for sharing.

We loved this! It was so easy and so flavorful:) I used b/s chicken thighs & breasts...also used smoked paprika and some garlic powder..very nice baked chicken recipe Frankieanne! Added a pic of the chicken in the baking dish (not as pretty as yours & Mr. P's I'm afraid!) A bit more in Frankies Bisquick Oven Baked Chicken

This was very good. Quick and easy. Tried both with and without skin. Loved them both. The skin was more crispy fresh out of the oven, though. Thanks for a great recipe. More in IMI Frankies Bisquick Oven Baked Chicken

This sounds great. Am going to have to give this a try. It sounds like this turns out almost like an oven-fried chicken. Hugs, Anj
P.S. I have a recipe for home made biscuit mix. If you're interested, let me know.
