Blackened Turkey Dip

  • mommyluvs2cook 7 years ago
My family loves beef dips, and were requesting it for lunch, so when I remember this recipe and just happened to have some pre-cooked carved turkey in the fridge, I had to make it. It was so good! The 'faux jus" was just delicious. I did sprinkle some blackened seasoning on the turkey before topping with cheese to give it that blackened flavor since it was pre-cooked. Used muenster cheese as well, cause that's what I had. Great dip!!

Wow! I NEED this. That looks incredible Michelle! I'm sure I could sub out cooked chicken? I often have leftover chicken frozen. I don't have any blackened seasoning but I could totally make it up as per Keni's suggestion. Gorgeous picture. I really wish I could reach into the screen and grab it. :)

Delicious looking sandwiches, Mommyluvs2cook! I can't tolerate spice, so Cajun seasoning is a no-no for me :(

Great picture! Recipes looks great too! I would do these too with just leftover roasted turkey of any kind as I can see the Jus making it great.

Gosh! Everyone has been so busy posting reviews. I had to do a double take with this one. I was thinking "dip" as in a vegetable type dip and saw the sandwich. Wait! What?! Very interesting twist on a classic favorite. Another great find and great photo, Mommyluvs2cook!
