    Bruschetta Pasta
Going back and digging into some of my older bookmarks I found this.
This was pretty good. I really cut this down - 1 large Roma, 1 large basil leaf, about 1/2 tsp of the garlic, a bit over 1 Tbs of olive oil and a sprinkle of salt. I had my dinner (shown) and enough for lunch tomorrow. I threw all the leftovers in a bowl and will heat it up in the microwave. Tasty and easy and quick. It probably would be lots better with a home grown tomato rather than the little pale reddish rock I bought today at Lucky.

Looks like I have this one saved! Don't worry Frankie, the hopefully pretty soon the stores will be getting some beautiful tomatoes in! I know I asked before and can't remember if you answered, but are you not able to grow anything this year? Your picture is perfect by the way!

Thank you! I am going to keep some volunteer potatoes alive. I also bought a basil plant today, thus the leaf I ripped off the poor thing. :) I think I'll put a tomato in a container, too, and see how it goes. I have to grow something or I'll go nuts! Or more nuts! :)

I know what you mean lol! I'm a vegetable growing junkie. I overbought on tomato plants and have 13 of them!!! I was able to squeeze all but 2 in my garden which I planted in pots. Hey if you need some tomatoes come 2-3 months I'll be happy to send you a VERY large box lol!

Yup all different! Every time I was at a store I would look at their plants and see a cool new one and buy it, that's how I ended up with 13, I had lost count! When I went to plant I had swore I had 8, but to my surprise, nope! I am very serious about having diversity in my life, that's why I cook something different and new almost every night and why I have 13 different tomato plants in my backyard :)

I heated this up for lunch and I think it was better when the tomatoes and all were warm. That may be a personal preference though.
