Recipe by Oldgringo: Buttermilk Biscuits/saved Good biscuit. Got an inch rise at bake. Things were flying in the kitchen this morning. Had half the liquid mixed in before I remembered that I forgot to cut in the shortening. So I cut it in and hoped for the best. From the pic, seems I didn't screw up the recipe too bad. Just wondering if there would have been better rise if things were done in the right order. Added 3 minutes bake time with the convection fan on for better browning. Used powdered buttermilk.
