    Cheese And Green Onion Biscuits
Well, I guess I learned something new today. Pancake mix must not be Bisquick. I used Bisquick for these and there was too much liquid in the mix. I read on the Bisquick box that their ratio for mix to milk is 2-1/4 Bisquick and 2/3 cup milk. I'd like to make these again with less milk because they really tasted fabulous! If I were to rate them, it would be five stars but I'm not certain I should rate them as I didn't make them correctly. Still, I believe these can be made with Bisquick, but just using less milk.
I did notice, though, that the posters biscuits look a bit flat as well.
I think I will use these tomorrow to make a breakfast sandwich with and egg and a piece of ham. :)

Since they tout Bisquick as being the perfect pancake mix, I wouldn't have known what they meant, either, Frankie. The recipe submitter should have been more specific and said something like "pancake mix, such as Aunt Jemima's or any other brand name". Still, your photos look good and the biscuits will make great breakfast sammies, so all is not lost. Just not quite what you were going for.

Yes, anytime I have not made pancakes from scratch, I have used Bisquick. For waffles as well. They taste delicious though!

They look good! I think the cheese and green onions are great add-ins. What kind of sammies are you going to make? I'm thinkin' eggs and/or ham - yum! Maybe eggs for beakfast and ham for lunch.

An easy over egg and ham sounds good to me. :)

These sound really good with the cheese and onions. I don't think it would matter what kind of pancake mix you use. My guess is they would be flat either way. Like you said, they even look flat in the submitter's photo. You could try cutting back on the milk and just use what you need to get the desired consistency.

Yes, they certainly do look flat in the submitter's photo! I noticed that before I made them but didn't think much of it. The flavor is fantastic! I do think I want to try them again with the Bisquick and less milk.
    Thank you. :)

These were good with a bowl of chili for my dinner last night. Chili was from a can. I know, but it was a Monday night after a Monday work day. :)
