Cottage Cheese Pancakes

Recipe by Donnaja1231: Cottage Cheese Pancakes
I like the salty edge the cottage cheese gave the pancakes. And unless I did something seriously wrong, no way did my cakes come out crepe looking as in your picture, especially with the folded in egg whites.
Tried a new attachment for my Cuisinart food processor. It's an egg white beater. Solid dude! Have only had the attachment taking up space and dust on the counter for at least 10 years. Might consider making more egg white dishes now.
Took a pic but won't post it because of the severe difference in looks.
Also can't see dropping small spoonfuls of the batter onto the griddle making large pancakes as in the recipe's pic.

There's a really good chance that photo really isn't of that recipe. It's a little too perfect looking.....but who knows.

That sounds like a really cool attachment! Never heard of one! Glad to hear you finally got to use it lol!

One of our favorite family memories is of my Mother-in-law making up batches of cottage cheese pancakes for special events. The recipe looks perfect but trust me there is no way those are cottage cheese pancakes in the picture. They are tremendously delicate and as a result they must be small and have an uneven edge to them. I think you should post your picture. Most likely the author just picked a picture to generally brighten up the post.

I have to agree.... those don't look like any cottage cheese pancakes I've ever seen. :)

You should post yours, P7O... it would be better for anyone else who stumbles upon the recipe and thinks, "wow, I didn't know they could look that thin and perfect, I'm gonna try this recipe"........then be sorely disappointed. Seeing a truer representation might be just the thing. :)

Just checked my pic. It's too blurry to post. Maybe next time.
