Crispy Beef Ribs In Oven

I went to my recipe box looking for beef rib recipes and surprisingly the first one I opened up has Sazon in it, which is so weird since I had made some up yesterday lol. So I just had to make this! I don't usually have beef ribs, but we just split a steer with my parents so we do now! I was surprised at how delicious these were...I usually would have basted with some BBQ sauce in the last 30 minutes or so, but I decided not to, just so I could taste the flavor without it, and to my surprise, I preferred them without sauce! Cooked the full amount of time.

OK, Ml2c, I want you or Frankie to adopt me so I can eat some of the amazing food you make! Or both of you could adopt me and share joint custody so I can go back and forth between the two of you. ;)

I think shared custody would work, you could stay here in Texas for a month then I could ship you to California for a month etc. :P :P You'd have lots of warm weather!

Winters in Texas, summers in California....I could live with that :)

Those look phenomenal Michelle. I'm bookmarking this to try. NEVER heard of Sazon before in my entire life. Do you have a recipe for Sazon posted? Or one you can direct me to? I googled it and the flavour combos sounds super yummy. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Lol, the California summers aren't as harsh as TX, good choice Bakerme ;)

Janet, here is the one I used http://www.food.com/recipe/sazon-the-dry-mix-404770 They also sale Sazon at the store in a box with like 8 pouches of it in it, I think it's on the Ethnic food aisle :)

Thanks Michelle! I pinned it. Would you use regular paprika or smoked?

Your welcome Janet :) I used a California sweet paprika from Penzey's but I think smoked would have worked great as well!

Ha. I only cook on the weekends, Bakerme, so you would get pretty hungry the rest of the week. :-)
Those ribs look fabulous. I haven't had ribs in ages. You really have me curious about Sazon. I'm going to have to look for it.
