Crockpot Roast

Made this over 1 year ago but remember it was delicious. Was just cruising through some notes on roasts and thought I should post this recipe.

I am just gonna tag onto Point's thread. I made this today for a nice Sunday dinner. I added a whole bag of carrots a half of a bag of celery, one large onion and about a 1lb of potatoes maybe a little more. Very good. almost like beef stew. the meat was tender and very juicy.
The house smelled great to come into after a hard day of apple picking LOL

we did get a lot of apples. I made apple jam, I tried the no sugar version with splenda but it doesn't look like it is jelling very well. I also made some apple sauce. They had peaches there too so I made some peach jam. but someone had posted a peach recipe in a cast iron pan that I wanted to try but I can't remember the name, I think it was Notyourmomma but at the time I didn't have the pan.
