Denny's Chicken Parmesan

    A quick and easy chicken recipe.
    Good flavor but needs more salt.
    Too much bread crumbs. Can cut it by half and still have left overs.
    Figured out that the milk goes in the egg. Recipe didn't say.
    Stores didn't have smoked mozzarella. Used a few drops of liquid smoke but it isn't the same. Smoked mozzarella has such a wonderful flavor.
    Used dried basil. Another detraction from the recipe.
    Beat the chicken so it was a uniform thickness and it would cook in time.
    Just wasn't happy about finishing cooking the chicken by baking it in the oven for 4 minutes. Extended the time to 10 minutes.
    Spread some pasta sauce over the Mozzarella and sprinkled with Parmesan so that it more mimicked the headliner picture.
    All in all not a bad dish. But I definitely would use more salt to season the chicken in the rub.
    Served it up with some beanie-wienees.

    Hey, thanks for trying the dish! Glad you liked it. Smoked Mozz has a great flavor. Most of the time I have to go to Whole Foods to find it. The salt is subjective, as I am "salt sensitive", meaning that I can taste it easily in anything, so I don't use much. But that's just me! Thanks for a great review.
