DestinationCuisine's Jack Daniel’s Marinade

This is a great marinade. I dont have JD, so I used Jim Beam. Almost forgot the Dijon. I tasted it first and thought it was too boozy, I went back and re-read the recipe and saw that Dijon was combined on the same line as the soy sauce. Added it then all was good. Used a stick blender to mix/chop green onions into the mix. .I used it on b/s breast. ( I know.....Real shocker, right? : ) I marinaded for about 36 hours. Q'd them about 7 min per side at about 650. Boiled the leftover marinade and drizzled over the chicken and some asparagus. Thanks DestinationCuisine for a great marinade

I was wondering if this would taste a little too boozy..never cooked with JD before..so it turned out delicious, huh? Very nice photo Mr. P, and thanks for the review, I'll bookmark this one for sure:)

Yeh, I really liked it. Im not a whiskey drinker at all. But it sure cooks up good. If you dont have a bottle, just get one of those mini air plane bottles. I think each one is about a shot.

As for the avatar photo,......I would like to claim temporary insanity,...........but I found out its not temporary........Its permanent =-D

I thought this looked good and those little "airport" bottles have exactly 1/4 cup in them. The guys where I buy my gas think I'm a lush but little do they know I buy those little bottles for cooking. :-D
