Dry Steak Rub

Recipe by Chefmeow: Dry Steak Rub
It's a good rub. Made about a dozen of these various rubs once upon a time. This is the first flavor that has run out.
Pic is on the recipe of the first time I made it. Second time I run the mix through a coffee/spice blender, just because.
Used it mainly on baked potato fries.
    Repurposed an old spice container.

That looks like it would work on chicken, too. Kind of a strange recipe picture. Makes me wonder if Chefmeow posted that one or not!

Making another batch of this. Patted it on a St. Louis style pork rib slab after painting it with liquid smoke and Dijon mustard. It is just a little on the peppery side. Thought mother would reject it but she likes her ribs too much and gobbled them right up.

Wow cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes and your not complaining? Just kidding :P This rub sounds great, I think it would be good on some thighs!
