Dugger's Austins Bourbon Sirloin

  • mrpiggy 11 years ago
Picked up a large sirloin that I cut in half. I only intended to eat one, but this was so good that I ate the other half. I dont usually dress up a good steak other than S&P, garlic and white pepper, but thought I would give this a shpt. This was great. My sirloin was a great cut and came out perfect. Grilled 3 min per side at around 700. ( I cut the marinade in half. I figured there was way too much waste and I was right.) I had about 1 cup of marinade left afterwards and decided to boil it and pour some over rice. (Yes, ML2C. I do like my rice : )

Great marinade. Thanks, Dugger, for a great recipe

Haha! I probably would have served this with rice too, that sauce sounds perfect for it! Did you skip the veggies this time? Tsk tsk... :) Those are some beautiful grill marks!
    You gonna rate it???

I really loved this. I used my charcoal grill and it came out perfectly. I put my picture and more detail on the recipe.

I like the sound of this marinade, even though I don't eat beef, like Mr P stated on the recipe page, this would be great as a marinade for salmon:) Your picture is just beautiful, as always, FA!
