    Egg Bread The Bears Way/saved

    Added a pic for you. Made hoagie rolls out of recipe for some smoked sausage links. I wasn't that impressed with the flavor for having 9 eggs in the mix but mother loved the rolls.
    I'm being a little miserly with my eggs lately. The flavor was good but not as a proportional function of the egg ratio.

    If it weren't for me being so tight lately I probably would have appreciated the bread more.

    Loaf is sticky to knead but try to not use more flour than called for.

    I'm using a secret ingredient in my bread recipes that's supposed to help the leavening process and make the bread keep longer. So far it's a qualified success. A couple more bread recipes should confirm. Then I'll get it posted.

    Yes, he had cancer. He knew, as the prognosis was not good. It was his second bout. He told me he had had a great life. He had a great outlook and sense of humor.
    He would be happy you made something of his. :) I still have a couple of his things bookmarked to try.
