Egg rolls my way CI

Made these last night for a party. They were devoured. The only plate that was completely empty. I followed the recipe as written but instead of frying them I brushed them with peanut oil and baked them.
I also made up the filling the day before I found it much easier to work with cold.
A definate go to Idea for a party.

I love your idea of baking them instead of frying!

Thanks, ladies... yeah, I'm glad I posted that one... almost didn't :)

I've never baked them, but it's nice to know they work! :) :)

I just find it easier Keni, I always splatter grease everywhere when I fry things, then I never know what to do with the leftover oil. I hate to waste it but hubby cringes if you re-use it. also after they are cooked I can keep them on warm in the oven until the party is starting, so they are nice and hot for everyone. Next time I am going to either make duck sauce (sweet and sour) or buy some. I love to dip!

Wow, these sound wonderful and fat friendly by baking them. Thanks for the great post!
