    Fabulous Carnation Chocolate Pie
I love finding old recipes so I wanted to try this the minute I saw it. Very chocolatey flavor! Be sure to add whipped cream. I didn't have nuts but I didn't care. :-P I usually don't drink coffee but a cup would be good with this. I'll take the rest to work on Monday.

Oh my, Frankie, that looks decadent! We like a thick pie filling, and that looks like it fills the crust. Beautiful photo, as usual! I don't think I'd add nuts, either. Saved.

It is really thick. Not like pudding at all. Grabbed another piece. :)

My daughter, the chocolate lover, would appreciate this one! Looks so good, and I agree that you shouldn't skip the whipped cream :) Fantastic looking pie!

    This looks delicious!
I have a can of evaporated milk that I bought before Christmas, and I can't remember what I was going to make with it. This looks like a very deserving recipe for it!
It looks like a cheater version of a French Silk Pie, without all the butter! ;)

:-) Thank you, ladies. It is definitely chocolate pie, not chocolate cream pie. It really hardens up. My picture was taken last night. My pie now looks like the picture posted to the recipe when cut.

Looks good! I was thinking the same thing as Cosmicmother about it being similar to a French Silk Pie. I'll bet I'd like this one.
